12 civilians injured in a grenade attack aimed at CRPF personnel by terrorists in Pulwama

Unidentified terrorists threw a grenade near the Kakapora Chowk in Pulwama. According to the official, the terrorists were aiming the grenade towards a team of security force personnel but the grenade missed the target and exploded on the road. The splinters from the exploded grenade injured at least 12 civilians who were present on a busy road. The injured civillians were admitted to a hospital nearby. However, no security personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in the terror attack. The area upon which the attack had happened has been cordoned off, and a search is underway to grab the attackers, an official said.
