Andhra Pradesh remains at the top spot in Ease of Doing Business ranking 2019
The Commerce and Industry Ministry has released much awaited State Business Reform Action Plan Ranking. The ranking was supposed to be announced in the March itself but got delayed due to COVID 19. The ranking is based upon the implementation of the State Business Reform Action Plan by the states.
Andhra Pradesh has retained its top spot in the state-wise ease of doing business rankings released at an event attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, MoS for Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
Andhra Pradesh has topped the coveted rankings in South India while Uttar Pradesh has been the front runner from North India. NCT of Delhi is ruling the rankings among the union territories. West Bengal from the east and Assam from the North East has been on the top from their zones.
