BCCI announces IPL 2020 schedule| MI vs CSK in the season opener

The biggest celebration of Indian cricket, The IPL was supposed to be organized in the march got delayed by several months because of the COVID 19 pandemic. After months of delay, BCCI is organizing the much-loved tournament in UAE.


BCCI has finally announced the schedule for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In Abu Dhabi, The Defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings in the season opener on September 19. Fans from around the world are eagerly looking forward to the opening match between the two giants. It's no doubt that the opening match is going to be nothing less than a blockbuster with people getting to feel moments from last season's final.


All eyes will be on the CSK as two of their key players, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh is not going to play this season due to personal reasons. Apart from their staff members, Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad have also tested positive for COVID 19 and will be unlikely to play in the opener.


Dubai is going to host the second match of the season between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab.


BCCI will announce the venues for the playoffs and the final at a later stage.
