Bihar govt issues order barring people indulging in violent protests from government employment

In the latest development against violent protests in the state, the Bihar government has issued orders barring people indulging in violent protests from enjoying government employment opportunities. JDU-BJP government led by CM Nitish Kumar has noted that people found guilty of violating the law and order situation in the Bihar state by participating in unwanted protests, and those charge-sheeted by the police were liable to face action.

The Bihar Government's notification comes in the aftermath of the violence that erupted from the farmers' tractor rally in Delhi and around its borders on Republic Day 2021.
Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav reacted heavily against the order issued by the Bihar Government. Tejashwi also claimed that CM Nitish Kumar was challenging Hitler and Mussolini by curbing an individual's democratic right to protest via the newly passed order. Slamming the CM Nitish Kumar, the RJD leader alleged that the state government neither provided employment to its people nor does it allow them to protest. RJD Spokesperson Shakti Yadav also dubbed the newly issued orders as 'Tughlaqi Farman' by the state government.
