In the 37th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 7 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Joss Buttler's undefeated 70 runs knock pushed Rajasthan Royals to an easy victory against Chennai Super Kings tonight. MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja's slow partnership helped CSK set a low target of 126 runs for the RR to chase tonight. With tonight's loss against RR, CSK is in deep trouble as they now have a very grim chance to even make it to the playoffs of the 13th edition of IPL. Whereas Rajasthan Royals, with their win tonight, is in a safe zone as they stand at the 5th position in the points table of IPL 2020.

Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu also failed to impress tonight as they lost their wickets in the early. While Watson made only 8 runs, the Rayudu made 13 runs off 19 balls tonight. After the fall of the duo, skipper MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja played a crucial but slow partnership tonight, with Dhoni making 28 runs off 28 balls, while Jadeja playing an innings of undefeated 35 runs off 30 balls. CSK was able to set a low target of 126 runs for the RR to chase tonight. Shreyas Gopal remained the most economical bowler in his spell of 4 overs while also taking a wicket for the RR tonight. Jofra Archer, Kartik Tyagi, and Rahul Tewatia also grabbed a wicket each for the RR tonight.

Aided by Buttler's undefeated knock of 70 runs off 48 balls and skipper's undefeated 26 runs off 34 balls knock, RR successfully chased down the target given by CSK tonight. Deepak Chahar remained the most economical bowler for the CSK in his spell of 4 overs while also grabbing 2 crucial wickets tonight.
