IPL 2020, DC vs RR: DC back on top of the points table as they beat RR by 13 runs

In the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 13 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Aided by Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer's 50+ runs knocks, DC gave an average target of 162 runs for the RR to chase tonight. Jofra Archer shined for the RR and took 3 crucial wickets tonight while also being very economical in his spell of 4 overs. After a bad performance in his season debut match, Ben Stokes played good innings tonight with his knock of 41 runs off 35 balls. With tonight's win against Rajasthan Royals, the Delhi Capitals are now once again at the top of the points table in the 13th edition of IPL.

Jofra Archer shined for the RR with him grabbing 3 crucial wickets while also maintaining an economy rate of 4.75 tonight.
Rajasthan Royals had a good start tonight aided by openers Ben Stokes and Joss Buttler's explosive partnership. While Stokes played good innings with his knock of 41 runs off 35 balls, the Buttler played an explosive knock of 22 runs off 9 balls. After the fall of the duo, Skipper Steven Smith and Sanju Samson came to the crease for RR. While the skipper lost his wicket after making a single run tonight, the Samson played an average innings of 25 runs off 18 balls. Robin Uthappa came to the crease to save the sinking ship of RR but failed as he lost his wicket after making 32 runs off 27 balls. Riyan Parag on the other hand also failed to impress tonight as he lost his wicket after making just a single run. Rahul Tewatia also failed against the might of DC bowlers tonight as he played slow innings of 14 runs off 18 balls in the death overs. Rajasthan Royals lost to Delhi Capitals by 13 runs tonight as they remained unsuccessful in chasing down an average target of 162 runs given by the DC tonight. Tushar Deshpande and Anrich Nortje remained the most successful bowler for the DC tonight, with them grabbing 2 wickets each in their spells.
Rajasthan Royals is on a losing streak in the IPL 2020. They have won only a single match this season so far. RR needs to assess and improve their performance if they hope to survive the current season of IPL.
