IPL 2020, RCB vs DC: DC's Kagiso Rabada dominates as they beat RCB by 59 runs

In the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 59 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Aided by Marcus Stoinis's explosive innings, Delhi Capitals gave a target of 197 runs for the Royal Challengers Bangalore to chase. Except for skipper Virat Kohli, every batsman from the RCB failed to impress tonight as they remained unsuccessful in chasing the given target. The DC bowlers destroyed the batting line-up of the RCB, allowing for their massive victory against the Bangalore team. Kagiso Rabada grabbed eyeballs with his impressive bowling tonight as he took 4 crucial wickets for the DC. Delhi Capitals now stand at the top of the points table of the 13th edition of IPL with tonight's win.
Skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first, allowing the partnership of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan to start. Mohammed Siraj remained the most effective bowler in his spell of 4 overs while also taking 2 wickets. However, Washington Sundar had the most impressive economy rate in his spell of 4 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had a bad start tonight with the loss of wickets of its openers in the early. While youngster Devdutt Padikkal got out making just 4 runs, the Aaron Finch also lost his wicket after making just 13 runs for the RCB. After the fall of the duo, Skipper Virat Kohli came to the crease along with AB de Villiers to save the boat of RCB. Captain Kohli did show consistent performance tonight as well as he made 43 runs off 39 balls. However, AB de Villiers lost his wicket in the early after making just 9 runs. However, Axar Patel remained the most economical bowler in his spell of 4 overs while also taking 2 wickets.
Royal Challengers Bangalore remains in the soft spot for now in the points table, but they need to improve the consistency in their performance. Skipper Virat Kohli has shown both improvement and consistent performance from his early matches of the IPL 2020. Whereas Delhi Capitals are looking pretty strong in the current season of the IPL, they are now required to maintain this consistent performance in upcoming matches as well.
