Jason Holder's quick cameo of undefeated 26 runs helped SRH chase down RCB's target

In the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Surisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 5 wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE. Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey's amazing partnership, along with Jason Holder's explosive cameo of undefeated 26 runs off 10 balls helped SRH chase down the target given by RCB tonight in the 15th over. SRH bowlers dominated the batting line-up of RCB tonight as RCB gave a low target of 121 runs for the SRH to chase tonight. Jason Holder shined for the SRH with the ball as well with him grabbing 2 wickets tonight. With tonight's win against RCB tonight, SRH now stands comfortably at the crucial 4th position in the points table of the 13th edition of IPL. Whereas, RCB sits with ease at the 2nd position in the points table of IPL 2020 despite their loss against SRH tonight. Skipper David Warner won the toss and elected to field first. Royal Challengers Bangalore had a bad start with early wickets of opener Devdutt Padikkal and skipper Virat Kohli. While opener Josh Philippe played an average innings of 32 runs off 31 balls, Padikkal lost his wicket after making just 5 runs tonight. Skipper Virat Kohli who joined Philippe, after Padikkal's departure, also lost his wicket after making just 7 runs tonight. AB de Villiers failed to impress tonight as he lost his wicket after making 24 runs. Washington Sundar remained unsuccessful in giving RCB a much needed run boost with his knock of 21 runs off 18 balls. Gurkeerat Singh remained undefeated with his slow knock of 15 runs off 24 balls for the RCB tonight. SRH bowlers dominated and restricted the RCB to a mere total of 120 runs tonight. Sandeep Sharma and Jason Holder remained successful in grabbing 2 wickets each for the SRH tonight. However, Thangarasu Natrajan remained the most economical bowler in his spell of 4 overs while also taking a wicket for the SRH tonight. Sunrisers Hyderabad a rough start with the early wicket of skipper David Warner tonight. Skipper lost his wicket after making just 8 runs for the SRH tonight. However, the other opener Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey played an important partnership for the SRH tonight. While Saha played a good innings of 39 runs off 32 balls, Pandey played an average knock of 26 runs off 19 balls. After the fall of the duo, SRH quickly lost 2 of its crucial wickets with Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma's early departure after making 8 runs each tonight. Jason Holder, who also shined with the ball tonight, played an explosive cameo of undefeated 26 runs off 10 balls, allowing SRH to grab an easy win against RCB at the starting of the 15th over itself. Yuzvendra Chahal remained successful in grabbing 2 wickets for the RCB while also being the most economical bowler in his spell.
