IPL 2020, SRH vs MI: David Warner & Wriddhiman Saha shines as SRH beat MI by 10 wickets

In the 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 10 wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE. Skipper David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha single-handedly chased down the target given by MI tonight. Aided by Kieron Pollard's last-minute explosive push of 41 runs off 25 balls, MI gave a decent target of 150 runs for the SRH to chase tonight. With tonight's massive win against Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad has now officially qualified for the playoffs of the 13th edition of IPL. While SRH now stands at the 3rd position in the points table, MI sits comfortably at the pinnacle of the points table of IPL 2020. Whereas, with SRH's massive victory tonight, KKR has now been eliminated from making into the playoffs of IPL 2020.
Skipper David Warner won the toss and elected to field first. Mumbai Indians had a rough start with the early wicket of Skipper Rohit Sharma tonight. It was Sharma's first match after recovering from an injury. He lost his wicket after making just 4 runs for the MI tonight. However, the other opener, Quinton de Kock played aggressively but lost his wicket after making 25 runs off 13 balls for the MI tonight. Suryakumar Yadav played a sublime innings of 36 runs off 29 balls for the MI tonight. Ishan Kishan also played a similar innings and made 33 runs off 30 balls. While Saurabh Tiwary lost his wicket after making just a single run, Kieron Pollard gave MI a last-minute explosive push with his knock of 41 runs off 25 balls aided by 4 sixes and 2 fours tonight. Pollard's explosive innings allowed MI to set a decent target of 150 runs for the SRH to chase tonight. SRH bowlers dominated the batting line-up of MI tonight. While Sandeep Sharma grabbed 3 crucial wickets for the SRH tonight in his spell of 4 overs, Jason Holder and Shahbaz Nadeem grabbed 2 wickets each in their respective spells of 4 overs tonight. However, Nadeem remained the most economical bowler in his spell of 4 overs for the SRH tonight. Rashid Khan also remained successful in grabbing a wicket tonight. Sunrisers Hyderabad had a great start aided by skipper David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha's explosive partnership tonight. While the skipper played an impressive innings of undefeated 85 runs off 58 balls, Saha played a brilliant knock of undefeated runs 58 off 45 balls for the SRH tonight. None of the bowlers from the MI lot remained successful in stopping the match-winning partnership of Warner and Saha.
