IPL 2020, SRH vs RCB (Eliminator): SRH advances into Qualifier 2 as they beat RCB by 6 wickets

In the Eliminator match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Kane Williamson shined as his amazing knock of undefeated 50 runs off 44 balls allowed SRH to chase down the target given by RCB tonight in the last over. While the rest of the RCB's batting line-up played a disastrous game, AB de Villiers' brilliant knock of 56 runs off 43 balls allowed them to set a low target of 132 runs for the SRH to chase tonight. Jason Holder grabbed 3 huge wickets while Thangarasu Natrajan also remained successful in grabbing 2 wickets for the SRH tonight. With tonight's win against RCB, SRH has now made it into the Qualifier 2 match, to be played against DC.

Skipper David Warner won the toss and elected to field first. Royal Challengers Bangalore had a disappointing start in the crucial Eliminator match of the IPL 2020. While Skipper Virat Kohli lost his wicket after making just 6 runs, youngster Devdutt Padikkal also failed in making a mark with his early wicket after making just a single run for the RCB tonight. Aaron Finch and AB de Villiers played a good partnership for the RCB tonight. While Finch played an average innings of 32 runs off 30 balls, de Villiers shined with his brilliant knock of 56 runs off 43 balls for the RCB tonight. The rest of the batting line-up also failed to make any significant runs for the RCB with Moeen Ali losing his wicket for a duck (that too on free hit) whereas, Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar lost their wickets after making 8 and 5 runs, respectively. Navdeep Saini and Mohammed Siraj remained undefeated for the RCB tonight. RCB was able to give a low target of 132 runs for the SRH to chase tonight in the crucial Eliminator match. SRH bowlers dominated the batting line-up of RCB tonight with Jason Holder grabbing 3 huge wickets while Thangarasu Natrajan taking 2 crucial wickets in their respective spells of 4 overs each. Given a low target to chase, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a cautious start tonight. While opener Shreevats Goswami lost his wicket for a duck, skipper David Warner took his time and played slowly but lost his wicket after making 17 runs off 17 balls for the SRH tonight. After the skipper's wicket, Kane Williamson joined Manish Pandey in SRH's chase against RCB tonight. However, Pandey lost his wicket after making 24 runs off 21 balls for the SRH tonight. While Williamson remained firm on the crease to allow SRH to chase, Priyam Garg struggled and lost his wicket after making 7 runs off 14 balls. Jason Holder joined Williamson to rescue the SRH tonight with his undefeated knock of 24 runs off 20 balls. Kane Williamson's undefeated knock of 50 runs off 44 balls allowed SRH to chase down the RCB's total in the last over thriller. Mohammed Siraj remained successful in grabbing 2 wickets for the RCB in his spell of 4 overs tonight. However, Adam Zampa remained the most economical bowler in his spell of 4 overs for the RCB while also grabbing a wicket tonight.
