Special CBI court fixes September 30 as the date for the verdict in Babri Demolition Case
The verdict in the Babri Demolition case is all set to be delivered on September 30 by a Special CBI court. All 32 accused, including LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, are asked to be present in the verdict hearing of the 28-year-old case.
The Supreme Court had asked the Special court to conduct day-to-day hearings and complete the trial back in 2017. The apex court was supposed to end the hearings on August 31, but the date got extended to September 30, after special judge SK Yadav asked for more time.
The Veteran BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi had recorded their statements in the case before a Special CBI court in July end. Both of them have denied all charges against them.
