Watch Arunachal Pradesh CM trek for 11 hours to reach remote village residents


Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu treks a distance of 24 KM for 11 hours to reach residents of a remote village located at 14,500 ft.


41-year-old Chief Minister trekked through mountains and forests to reach Luguthang village, located 97 km from Tawang district.


"It was an arduous journey while crossing Karpu-La (16,000 ft) to Luguthang (14,500 ft)," tweeted CM Khandu and shared the video of his journey.


Luguthang village is inaccessible by road. CM had to cross Karpu-La (16000 ft) to reach there.


Luguthang village of Thingbu tehsil in the district of Tawang is home to 50 people residing in 10 houses.
